Message	I know how you feel. I'm going through the same thing with my girlfriend and we're the same ages as you guys. There is a way for her to become her own legal guardian, but to be perfectly honest it's probably not worth the effort. When does she turn 18? Mine has about 4 months so we're just going to wait it out. : Sorry for posting this here, but I am very upset and do not know what to do. My girlfriend is 17, I am 18. She cannot stand living with her parents anymore, and wants to move in with my family and I. Is there any way for her to legally do this without having the police be able to come and take her away? Can my parents adopt her, or anything?? She is 17 and should be able to leave her house if she wishes. Thanks a lot, and again sorry for posting it on a car forum. (im desperate) Almost there......
